I did not write any reviews this year but I did manage to read 57 (so far) this year. So in no particular order here are my five star books for the year. The Haunting of Hill House - Shirley Jackson My Thoughts Exactly - Lily Allen The Choke - Sofia Laguna One Hundred Years of Dirt - Rick Morton Seven Brief Lessons on Physics - Carlo Rovelli Rosmersholm - Henrik Ibsen Yellow Notebook: Diaries Volume I 1978–1986 - Helen Garner The Erratics - Vicki Laveau-Harvie Accidental Feminists - Jane Caro Too Much Lip - Melissa Lucashenko The Writer's Room - Charlotte Wood I will be aiming for 55 books in 2020 and I am going to read some horror. It is not a genre that I usually read, so time to dip the toe.
